MBA at IBA - Admission, Exams, Assignments, Course Outlines and More...
When I decided to pursue MBA at IBA (Institute of Business Administration, Dhaka University), which is considered to be one of the most prestigious institutions in Bangladesh, I looked all over but couldn't find any resource materials online which could help me with suggestions and tips first for the exam, then the interview, and afterward for the program itself. So I decided to start a blog where I would share my experience at IBA, in the hopes that it will help out not only the applicants and students of the MBA program at IBA, but other institutions as well.
Not having slept a couple of nights, today I will just post a presentation which was my first assignment for the course Business Communication. Feel free to leave your comment - suggestions on how this blog could be improved, resource materials and tips I could help you out with. I am off to sleep, hope you like the presentation.
Nice work! God bless! Could you please spend a little more time to guide here how we can prepare for math section? What books we should practice for the maximum benefit? Let's say I(we) don't have the strongest background in basic math, If I would like to get preparation at home, what be the step by step strategy for the maximum success in math section that is I could make full correct answers in math section? Thanks
Thanks Aslam :) My suggestion would be to practice math for SATs. Typically you would be asked to solve 25 problems in 25 minutes. The problems themselves are not very tough, the difficult part is being able to solve them in the given time frame. But if you need help at a more basic level you can check out this link: http://www.ixl.com/promo?partner=google&phrase=display%20audiences%20banner&gclid=CKH5kuLyhrACFQ176wodLWfnlA

Assalamualaikum. Nice work indeed. I am doing a job right now. I have a BSc degree and I want to complete my MBA from IBA. Now can you please suggest which one is better for me - EMBA or a full fledged part time MBA? Thanks in advance.
I would definitely recommend part time MBA to Executive MBA. Executive MBA programs are more costly, but again, part time evening MBA programs are difficult to qualify for, more difficult than full time MBA programs, which is why they are also valued more than eMBA programs.
I have completed EMBA from DU Commerce faculty. Earlier done B.Sc. Now wanna have degree from IBA. What will you suggest for me: Executive MBA of IBA / Evening MBA of IBA / need not require degree from IBA? I am serving at a Bank in core banking side.
Please inform me the class time for Executive MBA at IBA. When the classes are normally held? How much cost is involved to complete 45 credits? Just give a idea. Thanks in advance.
I often hear, "I just got my MBA so I expect to make $x amount more money because of it." I always immediately retort, "Said every person who just got their MBA
An MBA would provide you with a more wholistic approach of business management, whereas you job will be very specific to one particular or related area. So an MBA would make your basics strong.
